Christmas Favorites *2012*

It took forever, but I finally am able to post my Christmas favoties list. Sure it looks like a lot, and it is, but lets be honest folks...I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!! So, I don't want to keep anyone waiting any longer!!

Chralie Brown Christmas Blu Ray : This movie!! OMG! I have to watch this movie at least 50 times each Christmas season. It is simply one of my favorites!

Prancer Scentportable : Okay, so it may not exactly be Prancer, but I personally don't like Rudolph, so I named mine Prancer. I love these cute little scentportables from Bath & Body Works. I have one for each season, but this little guy is my favorite!

Countdown to Christmas Scentsy Warmer : Okay, so my fellow Scentsy sisters know that "Countdown to Christmas" isn't the official name for this warmer, but I just think it suits it better than "Tis the Season" Anyway, Other than the fact that I have a slight obsession with Scentsy warmers in gerneral, I do think this is my favorite. I plan on keeping this sucker up all year round and counting down the days until my favorite holiday!!

White Feather Tree : So the link takes you to the collection this is in at Target, but the website is sold out, and they are near impossible to find right now. But when I saw this, I HAD to have it!! I love love love this, and it fits so perfectly in our room!!!

Christmas Vacation : So this movie is possibly the best movie ever!! I have already watched it about 50 times since December 1st. I can't get enough!!! I think that everyone needs to watch this movies!! I can basically quote the entire movie because I have seen it so much!! "And why is the carpet all wet Todd?? I don't know Margo!"

Essie - Beyond Cozy : Quite possibly the best glitter color ever! It goes with just about any other color that Essie has. I generally paint just one nail in this color. Crazy I know, but I love the glitter this time of year. It is just so festive! It goes really great with a brilliant Christmas red!!!

Twisted Peppermint Shower Gel : This time of yearis the only time I use the mint smell. And since this is the only time of year that I like it, I go all out. I use the shower gel, the lotion, and even the scent for the scentportable and the hand sanitizer!

Eskimo Kiss Scentsy Bar : This has got to be one of my favorite christmas smells. It just makes me feel like it is Christmas. It is a soft smell, but it lasts!! I'll even admit, I sometimes use it in the summer because I am so ready for Christmas!!

Snowflake Mugs : These beauties are a new addition to our Christmas loving house this year. I found them at Target, and just couldn't walk away from them. I didn't buy them the night I saw them, but I sent C back to get them!! They are just so festive, and I got the place settings as well. And come to think of it, I probably will leave the dishes and mugs on my dining room table all year round!

Michael Buble' Christmas CD : By far some of my favorite Christmas music. I can listen to this CD over and over and over again. We listen to it at work at least once a day! But I think I could listen to Michael Buble' sing all day everyday anyway!!

International Delights Peppermint Mocha Creamer : MMMMM yummy. I like creamer in general in my coffee, but out of all the ones I have tried, this has got to be the best!! It has such a wonderful Peppermint-Mocha ratio that neither is overpowering yet you can still taste both flavorss. Yummy yummy yummy!!!

So there you have it, a list of my 2012 Christmas favorites, and where to get them!! I sure hope everyone enjoys! If you have any questions about any of it, just ask!

The next post will be the Holiday Tour : Master Room Edition!! And maybe a little living room Edition as well!! :)

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

Random Friday!

1. I love Christmas. Okay, so that isn't very random, but still. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas.

2. Breakfast for dinner is my favorite. Since I have to get up so early for work throughout the week, I don't ever get to eat breakfast food, so breakfast for dinner is my kind of dinner. Last night we got to have waffles. :) There weren't the Christmas tree waffles that we had after Thanksgiving, but they sure were yummy!!

3. Essie is my new favorite nail polish! Sure those silly little bottles cost like $8 a pop, but still. That nail polish is FANFREAKINGTASTIC!! I have very weak fingernails that break all the time, and after just 1 week of wearing that polish, my nails are so strong!! It's been about 2 weeks since I took that first time color off, and my nails are still strong and growing!! It is awesome!

4. I am a workaholic. I was sick the week of Thanksgiving, and so I only worked one and a half days, and I went stir crazy! I could not stand being home that many days in a row! I joke all the time about having a day off, but in all seriousness, I wouldn't know what to do!

5. I don't like Rudolph. Call me crazy, but I can't stand Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. So when I found the cute scentportable below, I knew immediately that I did not want to name him Rudolph. Even though the scentportable has a red nose, I would like you to meet Prancer! (Prancer is my favorite reindeer)

Oh blogger world...

So, I have recently noticed that all the blogs I follow are written by wonderful mothers. They get to show off their cute little kids, and their elf on the shelf adventures, and all the joys that come with motherhood. (and before you attack me and say I am wrong because it isn't always a walk in the park, I know that, I am just saying that I am seeing lots of the joys of being a mother.I actually had a lady verbally attack me saying that I was wrong when I said something about the "joys of motherhood". I'm sure she was having a bad day...)

I love keeping up with all the blogs! But it makes me feel boring. Like who is going to read my blog? My life is not interesting, I don't have cute kids to fill up my blog, or I don't have an elf on the shelf. So since I am feeling boring, I am just going to post some pictures. :)

The view I had coming home the other day.

Just a few of the gifts that are wrapped and under tree for friends.
This tree is my favorite. It is full of ornaments C and I have collected of the years.

Black Friday and Christmas Saturday with the Long's!!

We had a fantastic thanksgiving. I was still getting over being sick, and C had what seemed like the start of it, but all in all it was good. We ha lunch with my dad, and then traveled to GA where my mom is, and we had lunch with everyone but my older sister and my might-as-well-already-be-my-brother-in-law. They were traveling. We missed them but we knew they had others to visit. :) Plus I got to seem them on Friday. So after I ate all the turkey and rolls I could possibly stuff in my belly, Mom and I began to get our lists ready and head out the door to Wally World. Let me just say now that I hate that place on Black Friday. Why do I go then? Because in the town that my mom and step-dad live in is small and that is basically the only place to go, that and they have like $4 blu rays. :) So we ended up spending like $85 on movies. Gotta love that! But Wal-Mart got stupid this year and decided to place all the stuff that the women were going after in the Produce section where there is no room to move. All the small appliances, sheets, etc and that many women??? CRAZY!! So I didn't try and fight that crowd, I instead sat back and watched as my wonderful husband battle the crowd to get a Crock Pot and a coffee maker among other things. Then when we finished there, we sent the boys off to Dick's Sporting Goods to buy ammo because I have just learned to face the facts that my husband will buy ammo just because he can. So while they were there, my mom and I made the venture to the mall! Oh boy! We went for 2 stores is all. And we were out of there!!! We then went home and slept! After getting up, we spent the day with my mom and step dad, and then my older sister and her other half, had dinner and then made the journey back to TN!

Then Saturday, we slept in, like noon slept in. It was awesome! Then I decided to make it a new tradition to make the Saturday after Thanksgiving "Christmas Saturday" Christ Tree waffles, a Christmas mug, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation for the first time of the season. :) Then Christmas tree decorating. Now usually I will have my tree up, but I will reserve one tree to decorate on this Saturday. :) And my dad and step mom went to see family, so we have my new step sister stay with us, and she helped get the ornaments ready for C and I to deecorate the tree. But finally it all paid off, the tree was up and decorated and so was the mantle. :) I wish we hadn't been sick, so we could have enjoyed it more, but it was good! NOW we are in the CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!!!!!!

And for the pictures of the weekend!

Thanks Wal-Mart. Next year don't make everyone stand near the food.

Can we spot Captain America?? Brave man right there battling to get movies for his awesome wife :)
Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret here we come!
Someone was happy with his Black Friday purchase

Our Christmas tree waffles, coffee in my favorite christmas mug and my 2nd favorite Christmas movie!!!
